Needlefelting Workshop

Enjoy a relaxing morning and learn the art of needlefelting. Choose a stunning landscape photo for inspiration. Then choose your wool colours and get felting. Every piece is unique and it's such fun. Hilary will frame your work so you will go home with a unique finished piece of work in a beautiful deep frame.

The cost is £35 which includes all materials, tuition, framing and refreshments. Payment is required in advance to secure your booking.

We have a new and exciting two day quilting workshop making a bespoke tuffet with Charlotte.

Some of you may remember Charlotte, who ran Crafty Little Lotty, sewing and craft classes, for nearly 10 years.  Learn how to make this fabulous Tuffet guided by the talented Charlotte.

All materials and some equipment will be supplied. All you need to bring is 8 fat quarters of fabric for your topper and a small piece to cover your button.

You will also need to bring a rotary cutter, quilter's ruler, and a cutting mat. I do have some sets that you could borrow if you don't have these already.

I have 6 machines but please bring your own if you prefer.

Some sewing machine experience required but this project is easier than it looks!

You will leave on the 2nd Saturday with a completed Tuffet, a set of full-colour instructions and a pattern as I'm sure you will want to make more!

Cost: £200 per person.

Students would need to bring-

8 fat quarters

A few choices of 4" squares of fabric for their button (or you can choose from Hilary's stash in The Bullpen)

Cutting mat, at least A3 size (I have some you can use)

Quilters ruler, at least 12" ( I have one)

Rotary cutter (I have some you could use)

If you've always wanted to try dressmaking then this is the workshop for you. Choose an "easy" pattern to make either a siimple dress of pyjama bottoms.

This is a five hour workshop, usually run in two parts. The  cost is £70 which includes refreshments, you will have to buy a pattern and fabric.

It's amazing what you can do with a T shirt! You can make a plant pot holder, a bag or a scarf and no sewing is involved. Suitable for children 10+ and adults alike.

Using upcycled jeans you will be shown how to make this funky cross-over bag to your own design.

Using upcycled shirts and fabrics you will be shown how to make your very own cushion cover. This workshop is perfect for beginners and will increase your sewing confidence.

This popular sewing workshop uses upcycled fabrics such as jeans and a shirt to make a fabric plant pot. This is suitable for anyone who has done a beginner's sewing workshop. It costs £25 for one workshop, or £70 if you book three at the same time.

Your child can work at their own pace on a variety of different cute projects such as bunting, and toys. These informal workshops are suitable for ages 10+ after school and Sunday mornings. They cost £10 for one hour.

These fun one hour workshops in the schoold holidays are a perfect way to spend quality family time together. There's a choice of seasonal activities such as decorating bottle lamps, gnomes. or printed bunting to choose from.

This addictive sewing workshop is suitable for more experienced sewers and is great fun. The cost is £25 for one workshop or £70 if you pay for 3.

This fun workshop is suitable for ages 5+ with parental supervision. Choose from a range of different fabrics and styles to make your own unique Christmas gnome. A small amount of hand sewing is needed and a hot glue gun is used. It's £10 per gnome for a one hour workshop.

This is a lovely beginner's workshop where you can boost your confidence and be creative. Choose from a variety of cotton fabrics. You will then be shown step by step how to make your string of bunting which will complement your decor.

This 4 hour workshop costs £50.

Using locally grown foliage such as holly, nordmann fir and ivy your child will be able to create their own centerpiece for your Christmas table. Pick dried oranges, pine cones and candles to finish off your creation,
